Before embarking on your first sailing adventure, there are a few safety etiquette rules to be complied with:
- In the unlikely event of sea sickness, there are sick bags available throughout the boat. Please ask the crew and hand over any used bags for proper disposal.
- Children under the age of ten must always wear a life jacket on deck. Parents: Please maintain constant monitoring and supervision of your youngsters.
- Please inform the crew if you have any medical issues or allergies.
- Please avoid wearing shoes with heels, leather or black soles. Wear only white soles or non-marking soles. Preferably naked feet onboard.
- Sunscreen oil causes the surfaces on decks to become slick, so please avoid using it there – please only apply sunscreen.
- It is also recommended to have a waterproof jacket in case of wind during the cool months in early or late season.
- Our yacht is outfitted with life jackets, flares, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other safety equipment to assure your safety throughout the journey.
